Overview

The Punjab Journalists Housing Foundation (PJHF) is a body corporate of Information & Culture Department, established through legislation titled the "Punjab Journalists Housing Foundation Act, 2004" with the main objective to introduce schemes for allotment of plots to the Journalists' community both from Print & Electronic Media for the construction of houses on a no profit no loss basis. Initially PJHF has a major task to establish Journalists schemes at Division Level and will extend the program to District Level after establishing of scheme at Division Level. PJHF doesn’t hold any policy for low income group. PJHF establish journalists scheme only for the journalists community.

Vision

To provide affordable and decent living to the people who have given their life to their profession but still don't have the sufficient resources to fulfill their basic need of shelter.

Mission

Is to develop a coordinated system of living for Journalists in Punjab that respects the environment and values Punjab’s precious land resource. A system that facilitates economic growth, provides adequate housing promotes social wellbeing and encourages a prosperous and responsible citizenship.
